Requirement For Admission Into IJMB Programme- 2020

IJMB requirement for 2020/2021 academic session is out.

We have made available the IJMB requirement for 2020/2021 admission.

As stated above, there are certain requirements for admission into IJMB programme which we will be discussing in the course of this post.

For prospective candidates who are not fully aware of what IJMB is about, We will be providing a brief explanation below.

Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) is the examination body that conduct IJMB Examinations (IJMBE) at both Ordinary and Advanced Levels. The Ordinary Level examination is meant to remedy deficiencies in English Language and Mathematics at the same level in the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or Cambridge (CIE) results.

The Advanced Level examination is equivalent to GCE Advanced Level and Higher School Certificate, HSC. Students sit for three(3) Advanced Level subjects and on successful completion, proceed to the 2nd year of undergraduate programmes in various universities in the country Provided the student makes the minimum required points.
The results can also be used to seek admissions in universities abroad.

With IJMB result, students can secure admission into 70/80% of Nigerian universities without JAMB.

IJMB REQUIREMENT for 2020/2021 Admission.

In order to successfully register for IJMB programme, prospective candidates have to meet up with the following requirements.

• (a) five O/L credit passes as contain in jamb brochure. Awaiting result can also apply but O/L result must be available before University admission.

• O’Level Result (Max of 2 sittings)
• Ten (10) Passport Photographs

• Certificate of State of origin (Optional)Note that;

No JAMB/PUTME score is needed for admission and awaiting result candidate too can apply.

A non-refundable form fee of #8,000 (which includes Registration & logistics) is to be payed at the registration center.

There are basically two methods for IJMB application. The two methods includes;

2. Physical registration
