We have been receiving series of calls and mails from readers/IJMB students who completed their examination three months ago regarding the 2016/2017 IJMB result. Majority of the queries are centred on when the result would be released.
As a matter of fact, the 2016/2017 IJMB exam result is out.
It is worthy of note that the availability of your result today depends on the centre you studied. This is one of the numerous added advantages for our students as their results will be made available for collection today 26/5/2016.
IJMB timetable is released February every year and the examination which is also written by February runs into march
For students from sub study centres, expect your results next or upper week because your coordinators might not be able to get it tomorrow. This is either because your centre is not directly registered under ABU, Zaria or they have an outstanding payment to make. So, be patient.
The Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) is an exam taken by students who have completed their nine months intensive classes in their different study centres (whether in a private or government owned centre).
This examination is taken mostly by students in Nigeria which qualifies them to gain admission into 200lv in some approved State or Federal owned University without JAMB.

No! You do not need Scratch card to check your result. To check your result. Please ignore anyone who request for any form of payment for scratch card in order to access your result for you. All you
need to do is to visit your study center for the original copy of your result.

In what other ways can I check my results?
Besides having your results given to you at your study centre, you may have your results delivered to your phone. This depends on your study centre and whether you have outstanding payment to make or not. If you registered directly through IJMB Guide, You may have your results read out to you by calling into any of our phone numbers to have it delivered to your GSM mobile phone via SMS.

I’m yet to get my own result from my centre, my coordinator keeps postponing it. I’m worried abh wen d direct entry form wuld close. Do u ave an idea abh dat?
You are not the first person complaining about this. This happen in some study centres every year… This is not always unrelated to payment issues. Just relax.

Is there any exam conducted by IJMB before one can be given admission?
Most centres do not conduct entrance examination into IJMB programme.
